This incident took place on 24 September 202 between India Women and England Women. It was also the last ever match for India’s veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami. Speaking of the match, India Women scored 169 runs only. But, they managed to win the match by 16 runs. However, the last wicket of England Women created controversy.

Deepti Sharma managed a run-out at the non-striker end while bowling the 44th over of the match. Charlie Dean was at that end and Deepti took that wicket to ensure India’s victory. But, England fans were not happy as they raised questions about the spirit of the game. Along with fans, cricketers also joined the party to criticize the Indian bowler.
