In the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, India already met with their arch-rivals Pakistan on the group stage. However, India won the match by five wickets. Now, both the teams qualified for the super four of the tournament. Hence, they are going to clash again in Dubai on 4 September 2022.

But, ahead of this tournament and these matches, some former Pakistani players came up with some big claims for the Indian team. Even, they came up with some big accusations against some specific Indian stars. Meanwhile, fans did not like these at all as they bashed them on social media platforms.

Ahead of the Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan dealt with a major blow on 20 August 2022. They confirmed that their prime fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi will miss the entire tournament due to his knee injury. After the news got confirmed, Waqar Younis came up with a cheeky dig on Twitter for India’s top-order batter.

This former Pakkistan bowler wrote: “Shaheen’s injury Big relief for the Indian top order batsmen. Sad we won’t be seeing him in #AsiaCup2022 Get fit soon Champ @iShaheenAfridi.” In this tweet, he took a dig at Indian top-order batters as he thought that they might be in relief seeing Afridi out of the tournament.
