This batter from England was enjoying great form with the bat across all the formats for England. So, fans were expecting to see Jonny Bairstow in action in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup. But, England dealt a massive blow as Bairstow got ruled out of the mega event due to an injury.
They confirmed that Bairstow sustained a lower limb injury. This injury occurred in a freak accident whilst he was laying golf on Friday in Leeds. The Board also confirmed that he will see a specialist to understand the full extent of the injury. Hence, it will be a big miss for England while trying to win the trophy in Australia.
