However, he made a comeback in the domestic circuit. Then, again he got injured and got ruled out of the season. The Board also confirmed his unavailability.
They said that Archer will miss the upcoming edition of the tournament due to a back stress fracture. However, they did not reveal any probable date. Speaking about missing the 20-20 World Cup 2021, Archer opened up in an interaction with Sports Mail. He said: “The hardest two pills I’ve had to swallow were not playing in the 20-20 World Cup and the Ashes. Watching the Ashes, I felt like I had let everyone down a little bit.”
