Pakistani skipper Babar Azam has picked the Big Bash League over the Indian T20 League when asked to choose between the two leagues. Babar is currently leading Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League.

In a video posted by Pakistan Cricket Board from the Podcast by Peshawar Zalmi, Babarwas asked to choose between Indian T20 League and the Big Bash League, to which Babar immediately replied with the Big Bash League as the playing conditions in Australia are different from the Asian continent.

Babar has been a part of Sydney Sixers in BBL, but he hasn’t played a single game in the Indian T20 League as Pakistani players are not allowed to feature in the league due to political tensions between both countries.

“The conditions over there in Australia are different. The pitches over there are really fast and you get to learn a lot. Whereas in Indian T20 League, you get the same Asian conditions,” Babar said in the podcast.
