After video recordings of Athiya Shetty and her husband KL Rahul’s alleged visit to a London strip club appeared online, Bollywood star Athiya Shetty clarified the situation. KL Rahul is currently on a vacation in England after recovering from surgery for an injury that he suffered during an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

“I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it’s important to stand up for yourself. Rahul, I, and our friends went out to a regular place, as one does. Stop taking things out of context and check your facts before reporting. Peace and love,” Athiya wrote on her Instagram story urging people to not assume things according to their convenience.

Netizens criticized KL Rahul and Athiya after a video from a London strip club went viral online and showed a man who looked like the cricketer. Evidently, Athiya was there at the club with him as well. After Athiya clarified the situation, fans responded to her and Rahul’s side.

Athiya Shetty and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper,  KL Rahul were married in January 2023 after dating for three years. At the farmhouse in Khandala owned by Suniel Shetty, the pair exchanged promises in an intimate celebration. Following the wedding, the couple uploaded lovely photos of their wedding ceremony on their Instagram accounts.
