Arshdeep Singh made his international debut a few months back. He wouldn’t have thought getting selected for the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022. After all, he was selected for a series which had only second-string India team. However, in the last few months, he has grown in stature and is now one of the main bowlers in the team. Also, he is one of the death bowling options in the team.

Meanwhile, the left-arm pacer made a hilarious mistake on his Instagram. Apparently, the team was traveling from Brisbane to Melbourne. During the travel, Singh posted an Instagram story including the window of the plane. In the story, he spelled Melbourne as ‘MailBorn’. This attracted a lot of trolls and memes from the fans.

Meanwhile, legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recently praise Singh for his bowling. The former said that Arshdeep is a balanced player and has shown a lot of promise. The 2011 World Cup winner pointed out that Singh commits to his bowling plan very well.

“Arshdeep has shown a lot of promise and he looks a balanced guy. And whatever I have seen of him, he looks a committed fellow because you can see a player, you can make out looking at his mindset,” Tendulkar told reporters.

“What I really like is that if Arshdeep has a plan, he commits to it and that is really, really important in this format as batters are going out and playing those extra shots and some innovative ones. So, if you have a plan, commit to it,” he added.

Notably, this will be Singh first World Cup. He would be looking to make a mark, starting with the game against Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne.
