 Bengal Tigers Announces Their Confirmed Players For The Upcoming Season Of Abu Dhabi T10 League

The fourth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League is going to happen from 23 November to 4 December 2022. Ahead of this tournament, Six teams will look to fight out for this trophy again. Speaking about the last year, Deccan Gladiators was the champion and they will look to defend their trophy this time around.

Now, on 24 August 2022, Bengal Tigers announce their retained and new direct signing players for the upcoming season. They took up the Twitter platform to announce the player names. However, until now, this franchise has confirmed four players only. More players will be added in the coming days.

Bengal Tigers retains Mohammad Amir ahead of the next season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League

Speaking of these four players, Bengal Tigers retained both Mohammad Amir and Matheesa Pathirana. Apart from these two, they showed faith in two explosive batters by signing them directly. West Indies’ Evin Lewis and New Zealand’s Colin Munro will also represent this franchise in the next season of this league.

Speaking of this tournament, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, HE Aref Al Awani said that this event will make Abu Dhabi a major sporting global hub. He said: “Through our partnership with the Abu Dhabi T10, we have further positioned Abu Dhabi as a major sporting global hub and consistently demonstrated the city’s ability to both build, and host, one of cricket’s most entertaining competitions. This is evidence of the success of a significant strategic objective of the Abu Dhabi government; to create and deliver sporting events that contribute to enhancing the emirate’s leadership in global sports.”

On the other hand, the Chairman of Ten Sports Management, Shaji Ul Mulk also shared his views. “When we first brought the league to Abu Dhabi, we had the aim of establishing it as one of the standout events on the international cricket calendar, and, with the support of ADC, ADSC, DCT – Abu Dhabi, and Emirates Cricket Board, we’ve done just that,” he concluded.
