After another horrible season last year, Manchester United will look to improve their overall team this year for fighting to win titles. For that, United brought Erik ten Hag as their new head coach and he started his work a few days back. Some players were given an extra break and scheduled to be back in training on Monday, 4 July 2022.

But, in the last few days, Manchester United dealt with a blow when news came out that their star man, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to move out from the club. However, the club insisted that the player is not for sale at any cost.

Cristiano Ronaldo misses the scheduled training session due to “family reasons”

Now, it has been confirmed that Ronaldo is not coming for the training session as he conveyed to the club about some family reasons. The club also accepted it, as per sources. Speaking about his transfer speculation, clubs like Roma, Napoli, Chelsea, and Bayer Munich have been considered, the potential bidders. His agent, Jorge Mendes had been trying to find out some solutions or options for him. Though, Bayern Munich’s officials have already dismissed any chance of signing this Portuguese superstar in this transfer window.

However, Manchester United is still convinced that Ronaldo is not for sale and he will serve his contract for one more year. This 37-year-old footballer was the highest goalscorer for the club and third-highest in the Premier League with 18 goals in 30 matches.

As per sources, the lack of new signings and lack of champions league football has reignited his desire to leave the club. Close sources to Ronaldo suggested that the player still believed that he has two-three years left in him to play at the highest level of football. Earlier, it was scheduled that Ronaldo will have a talk with the new coach, Erik ten Hag after he comes back for training. Meanwhile, Manchester United is on the verge of making their first signing of this transfer window reportedly in the form of Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.
