After the completion of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, May 29, India will lock horns with Australia in the final of the Test Championship, which is scheduled to take place from June 7 to June 11 at The Oval, in Southampton. This will be the second consecutive Test Championship Final for the Indian side.

Indian team members have already arrived in England and have begun training. The Indian team also includes Yashasvi Jaiswal, a batter from the Rajasthan Royals. In a recent image posted online, legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli is seen giving Jaiswal batting advice. The image has already begun to gain popularity online.

Prior to the Test Championship final match between India’s men’s cricket team and Australia, which begins on 7 June at The Oval in London, Virat Kohli went to work during practice. “All day everyday 24×7,” Kohli posted a photo of him on social media, with the caption. The Indian team’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, travelled to London with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jaydey Unadkat for the training session on Tuesday at the Arundel Castle Cricket Club.

He trains all the time at such a high level it drags everyone else along for the ride: Josh Hazelwood

Axar Patel, Umesh Yadav, and Shardul Thakur were the first group of Indian players to arrive in London with Kohli, and they started getting ready for the WTC championship match. On Monday, Kohli shared a few images from a practice in which he participated in fielding exercises and batting practice in the nets.

Josh Hazlewood of Australia praised Virat Kohli, a teammate of his at Royal Challengers Bangalore, in a recent interview. Hazlewood claimed Kohli’s work ethic is what makes him the player he is while discussing the Indian superstar, whose wicket he will be attempting to take at The Oval.

“I think it’s probably how hard he works (that stands out). His fitness first of all – and then his skill work and batting and fielding in particular. He is always out there (training) first and leaves last and the intensity he trains at all the time is at such a high level it drags everyone else along for the ride. That can leak on to the other players and improve them as well,” Hazlewood told the Apex Cricket Council.
