India wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson has gotten a lot of support from the fans during ongoing India’s tour of New Zealand. During the ongoing series, the right-hander has played only one game. Whenever Samson is ignored by the team management, the fans have torn apart the Indian team management. In three completed games, two T20Is, and an ODI, the Keralite has played only one.

The Rajasthan skipper in the Indian T20 League played the first ODI and scored 38 runs. However, ahead of the second game on November 27, the former India U19 player was dropped. Once again, the fans didn’t leave the opportunity to troll India Cricket Team management. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old has gotten support from Qatar, the nation that is hosting the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022.

Some fans were spotted holding placards inside the stadium while watching one of the four games played on November 27.

Sanju Samson has been ignored for India’s tour of Bangladesh

The Thiruvananthapuram-born player isn’t included in India’s ODI squad for the tour of Bangladesh. After the conclusion of the New Zealand series on November 30, the Men In Blue will play three ODIs and Two Tests in Bangladesh. This series will start on December 3 with the three-match ODI series.

With no home and away series after this one (apart from India hosting Australia for four Tests next year), Samson won’t be getting any chance to play for India unless he plays the last game of the New Zealand series. After the Australia series, the players will head to their Indian T20 League franchises with the next season likely to start around late March next year. That tournament will give Samson an opportunity to score big runs to earn back his place in the national side.
