The FIFA World Cup 2022 is ongoing in Qatar and the hosts are out of the biggest sporting event, given their poor outing in the two games that they have played in the tournament so far. As things stand, France and Denmark competed against each other on November 26, Saturday at the iconic Ras Abu Aboud stadium.

Both teams looked in great touch and halfway through, the match looked equally poised as they managed to create chances out of nowhere. However, the first half was all about France as they dominated the game with pass accuracy and were a bit ahead in holding possession when compared to the Danish side.

However, despite all the supreme efforts from Les Tricolores, the first half ended with both teams remaining at 0-0 and the match looked equally poised with both teams looking favourites to clinch the 3 points.

France clinch enormous win in second encounter of FIFA World Cup 2022

However, the second half saw a few rough passages of play and Kylian Mbappe, the trusted footballer from France, produced the lead for the team in the 61st minute. While France believed that they had the game well within their hands, Denmark’s Andreas Christensen produced the equaliser out of nowhere in the 68th minute and brought the Danish Dynamite back into the game.

France came up with 16 shots within the 80-minute mark and created opportunities out of nowhere. However, at the end of the day, Mbappee managed to put one past the goalkeeper yet again and grabbed a brace in the 86th minute, letting his team take home the win.

Denmark will face Australia in their next encounter on Wednesday and it will be the decider of the teams that will make it through. If at all the Danish side fail to make a cut to the Round of 16 stage, it would be an all-time disappointment, given that the team put on a great fight in the campaign. France, on the other hand, will face Tunisia in the next game and the latter cannot be undermined as the tournament has already witnessed too many upsets and the game can go either way.
