The Bangladesh all-rounder missed out on the tri-series between his national side, the West Indies and Ireland. The series was arranged by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to prepare for the Cricket World Cup 2019. Hasan decided to stay back for the Hyderabad team, which received a lot of criticism from the fans. However, those criticisms turned into praises when he excelled in the World Cup.
