Five umpires who have officiated in most number of Indian T20 League matches

2. Anil Chaudhary (India,100 Matches): Anil Chaudhary has officiated in 100 matches of the Indian T20 League, being second on the list. Anil Chaudhary was seen officiating for the first time in 2012.
Anil Chaudhary’s debut international match was on the 10th of October, 2013 in a T20 international game between India and Australia. Chaudhary also officiated the 2018 and 2020 Under-19 cricket World Cup.
3. Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka, 94 Matches): A former international cricketer himself Kumar Dharmasena has officiated in 94 Indian T20 League matches from 2009 to 2018. Dharmasena was an off-spin bowler while he represented Sri Lanka at the international level.
Dharmasena has been a member of the Elite ICC Panel of Umpires since 2011. He has also been named the Umpire of the year twice in 2012 and 2019. Dharmasena also holds the record for officiating 18 ICC World T20 matches, the most by any Sri Lankan Umpire. Lately, he was seen Umpiring the final of the 2019 World Cup, where he himself admitted to an error in judgement for which he had no regrets.
