Four ex-Mumbai players who will play for Chennai in Indian T20 League 2022

Chennai and Mumbai are the two most successful franchises in the history of the Indian T20 League. Mumbai has lifted the trophy five times, while Chennai has achieved the feat four times.

The Indian T20 League auction has often resulted in players donning different jerseys over the seasons. These two teams have often picked up players who represented the other team in the previous season. Here are four Mumbai ex-players who will be playing for Chennai in the 2022 season.

1. Robin Uthappa: Uthappa is known for his very successful stint with Kolkata. But the player began his Indian T20 League career with Mumbai in 2008. Robin was picked by Chennai in the 2021 auction. He played two crucial knocks in the play-offs and final of the tournament. Chennai released him ahead of the auction and bought him back in the event.

2. Adam Milne: Adam Milne is a Kiwi pacer known for his pace. Milne is also a good death-over bowler. In 2021, the Mumbai franchise bought him. However, he was released by the franchise ahead of the 2022 season. This year, he will be seen donning the yellows of Chennai. Chennai secured his services for 1.9 Cr INR.
