The 31st edition of the English Premier League is going on in England since the start of August. As of now, six Game Weeks have been completed already. All 20 teams have already played six games. However, after six games, Arsenal is sitting at the top of the table. This club has gained 15 points by winning five matches.

In their last match against Manchester United, they tasted defeat for the first time. With all the new players coming ahead of this season, Arsenal looked very lively in these six matches. Their head coach, Mikel Arteta managed to put up a good and competitive squad after a long time for their fans.

Arsenal lost against Manchester United by a margin of 3-1 at Old Trafford

As of today, Arsenal is at the top of the table. After them, Manchester City, Tottenham, and Brighton are sitting at respective slots. Speaking about personal achievements, Manchester City’s Erling Halland is currently the highest goal-scorer. He already has scored 10 goals after coming from the German Bundesliga. Along with him, his teammate, Kevin De Bruyne is leading the race for most assists so far. He has contributed to four goals for his team.

After winning all five games, Arsenal visited Old Trafford to continue their unbeaten run. On the other side, Manchester United started their season with two shameful defeats against Brighton and Brighton. However, they came up with three straight wins before locking their horns with Arsenal at home. But, United displayed good quality football. They managed to thrash Arsenal by 3-1. With that win, United came up to the fifth spot with 12 points. Meanwhile, Arsenal lost their first game of this season. Still, it was enough for them to stay at the top.

But, Arsenal fans were in worry that their club might lose that spot in the coming match week. In teh meantime, England’s Queen Elizabeth II died on 8 September 2022 at the age of 96 years. Therefore, all the matches of the next weekend of the league got suspended to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. After that, Arsenal fans went crazy on social media as they are going to stay at the top of the table for another week. This coming weekend, Arsenal was about to take on Everton at home. Now, fans are quite relieved after seeing that there will be no matches over this weekend in the Premier League.
