The heated discussion over India Cricket Team not visiting Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 is taking ugly turns day by day. Now, former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had a heated debate with the Pakistani anchor during a television show. Notably, the show aired a day ahead of the India-Pakistan game in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022, i.e October 22.

During the show, Singh said reminded the anchor about PCB’s chair Ramiz Raja’s statement on Indian Cricket. Apparently, the 1992 World Cup winner had said that the Indian Cricket Board provides the largest sum of funding. He also said that around 70 percent of World Cricket Governing Council profits come from the Indian market. The right-hander had further said that if the Indian Prime Minister feels like they must destroy Pakistan cricket, it will be just a matter of time.

We don’t need PCB to run our cricket: Harbhajan Singh

The two-time World Cup winner was challenged by the Pakistani anchor that the former will visit Pakistan if the country hosts a World Championship. In reply, the Rajya Sabha member said that he accepts the challenge. It will be interesting to see whether the Asia Cup 2023 is shifted out of Pakistan.

Harbhajan sahab abhi keh rahe hain, ‘Hum nahi aayenge’. Mera inko challenge hai… agar World Championship, woh bhi World Cup Pakistan mein hua, ye na aayein toh mujhe batayein (Harbhajan sir is very confidently saying right now that India won’t come to Pakistan. I challenge him… that if a World Cup is held in Pakistan, and the Indian team doesn’t come, we shall see).

Toh le liya bhai tera challenge (I accept your challenge, buddy). Indian cricket knows how to run their cricket. We don’t need PCB. We have an issue and we have said it. If the government gives the approval, sure,” the former India spinner said.

On the other hand, India and Pakistan will lock horns at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne today.
