After this year’s Indian T20 League, there was a rumour of a rift between Ravindra Jadeja and the Chennai franchise. In this season, Jadeja got the opportunity to lead the franchise. But, he failed to continue as he returned that baton to MS Dhoni during the mid-season. He also did not play for the team during the final four matches of the season.

After that, in recent times, Jadeja’s social media activities triggered that rumored rift more. He deleted all of his Chennai-related Instagram posts from 2021 and 2022. Now, on 3 August 2022, he came up with another heartbreaking action on Twitter for his fans. It might confirm his exit from this franchise ahead of the next season.

Ravindra Jadeja deleted a reply to Chennai’s old Tweet on Twitter

Speaking of the recent social media activity, Ravindra Jadeja deleted a tweet from his Twitter profile on 3 August, Wednesday. The franchise posted that tweet on 4 February 2022. This post was to celebrate the magical 10 years of Jadeja in Chennai colours. The post read, “10 years of Super Jaddu.”

In reply, Jadeja had written, “10 more to go.” But, now he had deleted this tweet. This action has made his fans into believing that he is definitely leaving the franchise ahead of the next season.

However, during the England tour, he scored a fantastic Test ton for India at the Edgbaston Test. During the press, he was asked about this rumored rift between him and Chennai. In reply, he came up with a tricky reply that whatever happened during that league did not charge him up for that match-winning knock in England. “What happened, happened. Indian T20 League was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me, there is no better satisfaction than performing well for India,” Jadeja concluded. Jadeja played his last game for Chennai on 4 May 2022. After that, he returned to cricket action almost two months later in the rescheduled fifth and final Test against England.
