The Indian T20 league has seen several top-class bowlers. However, the biggest fear as a bowler is chucking the ball. The rules state that the rotation of the shoulder is compulsory.

A bowler can only bend their elbow up to a maximum of 15 degrees. If done more, it shall be considered illegal. Thus, there have been several cases of chucking in the biggest T20 league in the world. Today, we shall be taking a look at the top five Indian T20 league players who have been called for chucking.

1) Sunil Narine:

Sunil Narine has had his fair share of problems with respect to chucking. In 2014, he was reported for a suspect action during the now-defunct Champions League T20. In 2020, he was reported for chucking in the match against Punjab.

The umpires during that game were Ulhas Gandhe and Chris Gaffney. In an attempt to work on his bowling action, he lost his charm to an extent as well. Nevertheless, he still remains a vital player for Kolkata.

2) Siddharth Trivedi:

Siddharth Trivedi was with Rajasthan and featured in several seasons for them. However, he was called for the legality of his bowling in 2009. This was during a stint with Gujarat during the domestic season back then.

The umpires had called him for chucking. Due to this, Gujarat Cricket Association had to face a lot of problems as well. He then had to undergo a rehabilitation programme under the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
