 India’s Schedule For Day 7 Of Commonwealth Games 2022

Indian athletes have been performing so far in this year’s Commonwealth Games. Till now, India has managed to bag 14 medals (5 gold, 5 silver, and four bronze). Now, the upcoming Day 7 will be another action-packed day for India. However, many athletes are going to participate in different events. 

Both Men’s and Women’s Singles matches in Badminton will going to happen. Even, India has a chance of winning a gold medal in the Long Jump event. Therefore, Indian fans will be eager to see these participants in action on Day 7 of the Commonwealth Games 2022.  

Here is the full schedule for Indian Athletes on Day 7 of the Commonwealth Games 2022:

Lawn Bowls and Para Lawn Bowls (4 PM IST)

Mridul Borgohain in Men’s Singles.

Table Tennis and Para Table Tennis (2 – 8:30 PM IST) 

Reeth Tennison/Sanil Shetty in Mixed Doubles, Round of 64. Both Manika Batra/Diya Chitale, and Sreeja Akula/Reeth Tennison in Women’s Doubles, Round of 64.  Bhavina Patel in Women’s Classes 3-5, Qualification Round. Sahana Ravi in Women’s Classes 6-10, Qualification Round. 

On the other hand, Sonalben Patel in Women’s Classes 3-5, Qualification Round. Raj Alagar in Men’s Classes 3-5, Qualification Round 3.  Sanil Shetty/Harmeet Desai and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran/Sharath Achanta in Men’s Doubles, Round of 32. Reeth Tennison/Sanil Shetty in Mixed Doubles, Round of 32. Sreeja Akula, Manika Batra, and Reeth Tennison in Women’s Singles, Round of 32.

Badminton (2:30 PM IST)

P.V. Sindhu and Aakarshi Kashyap in Women’s Singles, Round of 32. While, in Men’s singles, Round of 32, Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth are in action. Ashwini Ponnappa/Sumeeth Reddy in action in Mixed doubles, Round of 32.

Athletics and Para Athletics (2:30 PM -12:12 AM IST) 

Manju Bala and Sarita Singh in Women’s Hammer Throw, Qualification Rounds. However, in Men’s Long Jump, Final, Murali Sreeshankar and Muhammed Anees.

Cycling – Time Trial (2:30 PM IST)

David Elkatohchoongo, Ronaldo Laitonjam in Men’s Time Trial, Final. Meanwhile, Mayuri Lute, and Triyasha Paul in Women’s Time Trial, Final.

Gymnastics – Rhythmic (4:30 PM IST)

Balveen Kaur in Final & Individual Qualification.

Squash (4:30 PM IST)

Ramit Tandon/Harinder Pal Sandhu and Velavan Senthilkumar/Abhay Singh in Men’s Doubles, Round of 32. On the other hand, Sunyani Kuruvilla/Anahat Singh and Dipika Pallikal/Joshna Chinappa in Women’s Doubles, Round of 32.

Boxing (4:45 – 8 PM IST)

Amit Panghal in Men’s Over 48kg – 51kg (Fly), Quarter-final.  Jaismine Lamboria in Women’s Over 57kg – 60kg (Light), Quarter-finals. While, Sagar Ahalwat in Men’s Over 92kg (Super Heavy), Quarter-final.

Hockey (6:30 PM IST)

India vs Wales in Men’s Hockey, Group Match.

Para Powerlifting (7:30 PM IST)

Pramjeet Kumar in Men’s Lightweight, Final. While, Sakina Khatun and Manpreet Kaur in Women’s Lightweight, Final.
