Warwickshire’s Hasan Ali is presently competing in the Second Eleven Twenty20 tournament. He even represented the same team in the county competition, taking 17 wickets in four games. He has so far taken seven wickets in the current campaign. He even scored 53* runs off 37 balls in a county match against Essex, including four fours and four sixes.

However, he just dedicated Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan, an amazing tweet. In the tweet, with Sarafaraz’s image, he wrote: “Salman Khan of Karachi @SarfarazA_54 #Maashallah #merakaptan Handsome.”  Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media.

As far as I am playing, there is always a wish to play: Sarfaraz Khan

For Pakistan, Hasan Ali last took the pitch in January 2023. Speaking of Sarfaraz Khan, in the same Test series in January, he also made his final appearance for the Men in Green. However, Mickey Arther, the current team director of the Pakistan cricket team, claimed in a recent interview with a local media outlet that although he had spoken with Sarfaraz, no discussions on the 50-Over World Cup had taken place.

“Look Sarfraz and I have a great relationship. I’ve touched base with him but as you know, there are so many people in the shake-up for the 50-over World Cup. So we haven’t spoken about that explicitly at the time, but I have caught up with Sarfaraz because him and I go back a long way. We’ve got a really good relationship,” Arther stated.

Even in a press conference held in Karachi earlier that month, a reporter questioned Sarfaraz about his desire to participate in the upcoming World Cup. The reporter asked: “Do you wish to play World Cup this year?” To which the 25-year-old asserted: “As far as I am playing, there is always a wish to play; I want to play cricket.”

Here’s how fans reacted to Hasan Ali’s post about former Pakistan skipper, Sarfaraz Khan:
