Major boost for Delhi: Availability of star players confirmed ahead of Lucknow match

Delhi will be facing Lucknow in their next match in the Indian T20 League season 2022. They have been facing difficulties in fielding their four overseas players in the tournament, due to the availability of some major overseas options.

Shane Watson is the assistant coach of the Delhi franchise this season. On Wednesday Watson confirmed the availability of two of their prime overseas options. The Australian opener David Warner and South African speedster Anrich Nortje will be available for selection in Delhi’s next match against Lucknow on Thursday, as confirmed by Watson.

The news is a big boost for the team after their 14 runs defeat against Gujarat in the last match. “David Warner is definitely out of quarantine period now and is available for tomorrow night’s game is very exciting.
