Mahendra Singh Dhoni is well-known for his big-hitting abilities throughout his career. He is known as one of the best captains of all time for India. Now, it has been reported that MS Dhoni is set to make his debut in Kollywood. This veteran cricketer has approached actor Vijay and asked him to act in his film.

Famous actor, Thalapathy Vijay has accepted this request from Dhoni. This actor is currently busy starring in ‘Thalapathy 66’ as the first look poster will be released on June 21 at 6:01 pm. Even, the official announcement of ‘Thalapathy 67’ is also expected on June 22.

‘Thalapathy 68’ will probably be produced by Dhoni’s company

MS Dhoni is planning to produce films under his production company. Even, as per reports, ‘Thalapathy 68’ will probably be produced by his company. In that film, Dhoni will be seen in a cameo, and the announcement is expected soon. Speaking about the film, Dhoni and Vijay met for a shooting a few months back, and there, they were talking about the film deal in a friendly way. Reports also suggested that Vijay had agreed already to the movie.               

Apart from cricket, Dhoni had already invested in different fields like poultry, agriculture, brewery, gym, and clothing. His company, named Dhoni Entertainment, is now looking to produce such movies in near future. Actress Nayanthara has been roped in to play the heroine for his first project, as per reports.

Speaking about his cricketing career, after getting retirement from all the formats of the game, Dhoni now plays for his Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League. In the last season of that tournament, as a team, Chennai failed to qualify for the play-offs. As an individual batter, Dhoni managed to score 232 runs in 13 innings at an average of 33.14. For India, he played 538 International matches where he scored 17266 runs across all the three formats. Dhoni has captained India in a total of 331 matches and that is known as the highest by any captain across all the formats.
