Bhuvneshwar Kumar is currently playing for India in the three-match T20I series against Australia at home. After having a poor Asia Cup campaign, India were hoping to do well in this series. But, in the first match, Australia defeated them by four wickets. Speaking about Bhuvneshwar’s performance, he conceded 52 runs in his four overs, at an economy of 13.

In the Asia Cup 2022, he became the highest wicket-taker by grabbing 11 wickets in five matches. He also bowled at an economy of 6.05. But, five wickets only came in the last match against Afghanistan. Hence, fans become so angry with his recent performances despite having so much experience. Now, his wife, Nupur Nagar came up with a strong reply against those haters on Instagram.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has failed to deliver in crunch situations for India in recent matches

In the recent Asia Cup, against Pakistan, he conceded 19 runs, and against Sri Lanka, he conceded 14 runs while bowling the 19th over. Then, in the series opener against the Aussies, he conceded 16 runs in the same 19th over. 

Speaking of the shared post, Nupur Nagar wrote: “Nowadays, people are so worthless, that they have nothing better to do and have so much time to spread hate and envy… My advice to all those is – nobody is affected by your words or cares about your existence. So please spend that time in making yourself better, though there is very less scope for that!!”

Speaking of the first match of the series, India batted first after losing the toss. They posted a huge total of 208 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya scored 71* runs off 30 balls, including seven fours and five sixes. In reply, the visitors chased the target down in just 19.2 overs. Australia won the match by four wickets in Mohali as Cameron Green was the player of the match. He scored 61 runs off 30 balls, including eight fours and four sixes.
