Rashid Khan is one of the most sought-after bowlers in the T20 leagues across the world. He was picked up by Gujarat as one of the three draft players of the Gujarat team along with Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill. The faith that the franchise showed in him has been repaid by the bowler as he has been brilliant with the bat and the bowl in the tournament.

Rashid will be playing an important role in the final of the Indian T20 League 2022 as Gujarat takes on the Rajasthan in the summit clash. While he is still a young player himself, Rashid is already considered a legend in the shortest format of the game. The Afghan all-rounder has spoken up about a young Indian spinner in a conversation with Cricket.com and has stated that he can be a future star in Indian cricket.

As per Rashid, Ravi Bishnoi, who was a part of Lucknow in the Indian T20 League 2022 has the talent and all the skills to make it big.

“Bishnoi is young talent. I’ve talked to him quite a few times. In the upcoming young years, he will be a big star for India. If he trusts his skills and continues to back them up, he will definitely be a big bowler for India,”- said Rashid.

In the same conversation, Rashid also spoke about Yuzvendra Chahal. He believes that Chahal is the best spinner at the moment.

“Definitely, the way he performed for Bangalore and India; he is the best spinner. He bowled the tough overs for India and Bangalore, which is very difficult, He has played most of the matches in Bangalore, which is a smaller ground, and he showed his skills brilliantly,”- said Rashid on Chahal.

Both Rashid and Chahal will be a part of the summit clash of the Indian T20 League 2022. Notably, Chahal is in the race for the Purple Cap with 26 wickets under his belt in the tournament. He is just behind Wanindu Hasaranga of Bangalore who also has the same number of wickets but is topping the list owing to a better economy rate.
