Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is away from the game after the 20-20 World Cup 2022 in which his side played the final. Currently, he is relaxing as his team will play next month. Pakistan will play against England in a three-match Test series at home. For the first time since 2005, the Asian side is hosting the Three Lions at home. Meanwhile, the Pakistan skipper has become a butt of jokes.

Apparently, he posted a picture under the blue skies wearing a White T-Shirt on Twitter. In the caption, he wrote “Relaxing under the blue sky”. The Indian fans took note of this and decided to make jokes about the caption. One fan jokingly shared the screenshot of T20I batters’ rankings that says Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) is topping the table.

Babar Azam would love to get back to his form against England

The right-hander had a forgettable run with the bat in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. The Lahore player could only manage 124 runs in seven games including a fifty in the semifinal against New Zealand. His side lost the final against the Three Lions. Azam will look to score big runs against the visitors in the series that will start on December 1.

Notably, he has hit two hundreds in five Tests since March this year. In the second Test against Australia in Karachi, he scored 196 runs in the fourth innings and made it look like he will take the team home chasing an improbable target of 506 runs. However, after he got out, the rest of the batters decided to play safe and settle for a draw. A few months later, the 28-year-old hit a decisive century against Sri Lanka.

His innings helped the team stop the Lankan Lions from taking a big lead in the game. Eventually, his side won the Test match, chasing more than 340 runs to win.
