After losing the first match of the Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan made an outstanding comeback in the tournament. They lost against India but thrashed Hong Kong to qualify for the ‘Super Four’ stage. Then, they defeated India and Afghanistan.

However, they lost against Sri Lanka. But, it was enough for them to seal their place in this year’s final. Now, on 11 September 2022, both teams are going to lock horns with the hope to win this prestigious trophy. But, ahead of the match, former Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar came up with a funny post on Twitter. The post went viral as fans found it very funny.

Speaking of the post, he shared an image that shows a blood pressure monitor machine along with some medicines. Akhtar shared the image with a caption: “Sab tayyar?”. It seemed that Akhtar warned Pakistan fans about another thrilling or nail-biter finding in the final. 

Throughout the tournament, both these teams played some thrilling matches. Sri Lanka won a thrilling match against Bangladesh in the group stage. On the other hand, in the group stage, Pakistan lost against India after showing a lot of fight. Against Afghanistan, Naseem Shah hit two consecutive sixes. Then, only Pakistan won the match by one wicket only. Hence, Shoaib Akhtar might warn fans that another thrilling encounter might be loading when these teams will be in action in the final.

However, Akhtar always wanted to see an Indo-Pak clash in the Asia Cup final. Speaking about it on his YouTube channel, he said: “I wanted India and Pakistan to play in the final, and I had already bought tickets. I wanted to interact with Indian and Pakistani crowds.” He also added that he will visit Australia to watch the Indo-Pak clash in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup. “Ï will also go to Melbourne to watch Pakistan’s match,” Akhtar concluded.
