1. Ishan Kishan (INR 15.25 Cr)
After his explosive batting displays in the last season, fans were flummoxed when Mumbai decided to release Ishan Kishan. But the franchise had planned on buying him back without worrying about the price. Once Ishan was put into auction, the paddle was never lowered from the Mumbai table. Mumbai ultimately secured the services of Kishan for a cost of INR 15.25 Cr. This made him the costliest player of Mumbai, as well as of the 2022 mega auction.
