Vedaant has become one of India’s most promising swimmers over the past couple of years. He has already won the country numerous awards on the international level. At the Danish Open swimming event in Copenhagen, Vedaant won the gold medal in the men`s 800m freestyle event, beating local swimmer Alexander L Bjorn. He had earlier won a silver in the 1500m freestyle at the same meet. Vedaant had earlier won a bronze medal at the Latvia Open in March 2021 and had bagged seven medals (four silver and three bronze) at the Junior National Aquatic Championships last year.
