On Wednesday, April 26, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will play in the 35th game of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). When the two teams faced off earlier in the season at Eden Gardens, KKR defeated them by a huge victory. RCB was struck in the plan created by the KKR spinners, but the two teams’ IPL 2023 tactics have been changed from then on.

The majority of RCB’s runs continue to be scored by its three key batters, Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell. This is made possible by the trio’s strong recent run of form. Mohammed Siraj has shown great ball control, while players like Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel are becoming more and more competitive as the tournament progresses. On the other hand, for the Knight Riders, only Rinku Singh is performing.

Let’s look at the three key player battles that we will get to see in the RCB Vs KKR clash in IPL 2023:

1.  Andre Russell (KKR) Vs Harshal Patel (RCB):

Andre Russel Harshal Patel

While bowling in the last overs of RCB’s nail-biting victory over the Rajasthan Royals (RR), Harshal Patel, who has not had an outstanding campaign so far, appeared at his most composure. Russell hasn’t had a very memorable IPL 2023 season either, with the exception of a few cameos, but the Caribbean all-rounder still poses a threat.

When compared to other bowlers, Harshal has a respectable record against Russell. Since the 2021 season, the right-arm pacer has twice dismissed the star all-arounder. Russell, on the other hand, has a strike rate of 134.61 and has scored 35 runs off of 26 deliveries against him.
