Three player battles to watch out for in SRH Vs DC clash in IPL 2023

On Monday, April 24, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Match 34 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will take place between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC). For both sides, this will be their sixth game overall in the competition. In six games, SRH has only been successful in two. They have lost their previous two games, falling to the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings respectively. They are now on a two-match losing streak. As they have won just one of their first three games in the IPL 2023, SRH has a poor home record.

On the other hand, the Capitals lost their first five encounters in the 16th edition of the cash-rich league, but they won their last fixture against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which was played at Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi, where they won the game in the last over with four wickets in hand. Star India bowler, Ishant Sharma was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant match-winning performance where he snapped two wickets in his spell of four overs and conceded only 19 runs in his spell.

3. Prithvi Shaw (DC) Vs Washington Sundar (SRH):

Star India batter, Prithvi Shaw has struggled a lot in all the six games he has played so far in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League. In the last match, the Capitals won but the 23-year-old struggled to bat against KKR’s mystery spinner, Varun Chakravarthy. Its possible that, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram can introduce the spinner Washington Sundar to stop Shaw from scoring runs. He is known for bowling in powerplay, although, he has not dismissed the DC batter so far but the chances are high that he can trouble him.
