Only four days are left in the Indian T20 League player auction for the season 2023. A little less than 1000 players have registered for the mini-auction to be held in Kochi this time around. Teams have retained most of the players and traded some of them during the transfer window last month. Now, they would look to fill the remaining slots in the team on December 23.

Meanwhile, one player that is going under the radar is Australia’s uncapped all-rounder Chris Green. He has played quite a few T20 Leagues around the world such as Big Bash League, Caribbean Premier League, Pakistan Super League, T20 Blast in England, etc. He was also part of the Kolkata side in the Indian T20 League 2020. This time around, he has registered himself in the player auction.

Talking about the team, they played the final in the 15th season of the league in from late March to Late May this year. They had good bowling that won them those games that looked like lost. On the other hand, their batting was held together by players such as Jos Buttler, skipper Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, etc.

However, one department they lacked was the number seven player who could provide a sixth bowling option. In some games during the season early this year, the team didn’t have a sixth bowling option and a number batter who could hit boundaries. In the upcoming player auction, they might target Green.
