Rishabh Pant has been battling with injuries since he met with an accident at the dawn of December 30. On that day, he was rescued by a bus driver and his conductor as Pant’s car had turned into a ball of fire. After being treated for a while in Dehradun, he was shifted to Mumbai due to privacy concerns. The wicketkeeper batter is being treated for his multiple injuries.
Talking about his injuries, the former India U19 player has sustained two wounds on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, as well as injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe. His back also has abrasions. At the point, it is difficult to make out when the left-hander will recover from his injuries. The doctors are doing their best to bring him at his best.
Meanwhile, the Delhi player posted a picture of two people who took him to the hospital on Twitter. He thanked and wrote “I may not have been able to thank everyone individually, but I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured I got to the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank you. I’ll be forever grateful and indebted,”

Rishabh Pant is ruled out of the game for the entire 2023 and more: Reports
Meanwhile, it is recently reported that the Uttarakhan-born player is ruled out of the game for the calender year of 2023. At first, the two-time Border-Gavaskar Trophy winner was ruled out of the Indian T20 League 2023. He is the captain of the Delhi side and is set to replaced as wicketkeeper batter and skipper both. Now, it is reported that he might miss the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan and the ODI World Cup in India.
Also, further reports says that he might also miss the 20-20 World Cup 2024. Apart from this, Pant is set to miss out the next World Test Championship cycle. However, the fans will be hoping for his speedy recovery.
