Since her introduction to the playing XI of the Indian team, she managed to impress everyone with her cricketing abilities. She scored 77 runs in two ODIs against Sri Lanka while she scored 27 runs in two T20I innings. She also scored an unbeaten 56-run knock in the ODI series.
Pooja Vastrakar also managed to take two wickets in three T20I matches while picking up four wickets in three ODI matches at an economy of 4.44 and 4.62 respectively. Hence, she will be another player to look out for in the upcoming Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Birmingham for India.
