3. Mumbai vs Pune (2012)

In the 45th game of the season five, Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Sachin Tendulkar and James Franklin stitched a partnership of 50 runs. Lack of partnerships after this meant the team could only muster 120/9. For Pune, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra took two wickets Ashok Dinda took one.

In reply, Pune fell short by one run as they were riding on the lone batting effort of Mithun Manhas (42*). None of the other batter could go past the 20-run mark. Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh took two each while Munaf Patel and Pragyan Ojha took one each.
