Virat Kohli has been scoring runs consistently since his return to form. He has now ended his century drought in all three formats of the game, with the latest one coming in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series’ third Test. Speaking about his form ahead of the upcoming season of the coveted Indian T20 League, the star Indian batter expressed high hopes saying his ‘best is yet to come.’

Virat Kohli said, “my best is yet to come, which hopefully happens in the ITL 2023. If I can get to the level that I really want to, then it’ll help the team”. Last season, Kohli scored  341 runs in 16 games at an average of 22.73, a strike rate of 115.99, while registering the highest score of 73.

Virat Kohli has launched a new non-profit initiative called ‘SeVVA’ with his wife, Anushka Sharma

Recently, Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, announced the launch of a joint non-profit initiative called SeVVA. The couple announced their decision in a statement, noting that its work will not be “limited to a particular topic.” The joint statement read, “In the words of Kahlil Gibran ‘, For in truth it is life that gives unto life- while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness’. With this sentiment in mind, we have decided to work together through SeVVA, aiming to reach out to as many people as possible. SeVVA’s work won’t be confined to a particular issue as it will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today.”

Virat Kohli was last involved in the one-day series between India and Australia, which the visitors won 2-1. The visitors bounced back after losing the first ODI in Mumbai to win the latter two in the series. Kohli scored a half-century in the third and final ODI. However, his efforts were unsuccessful, with India losing the match by 21 runs. More importantly, he recently ended his century drought in Test cricket in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series, which India won 2-1.
