Yuvraj Singh has been one of those players who have revolutionized T20 cricket in Indian cricketing history. No cricket fan can ever forget his six sixes off Stuart Board in the inaugural T20 World Cup. Notably, Yuvraj was the Player of the Series of the tournament. Besides, T20 cricket, Yuvi has also been an important part of India’s rise in ODI cricket. He was also the Player of the Series in the 2011 50-overs World Cup, which India won.

The former Indian batter is no stranger to the highs and lows of the game. While he has been at the pinnacle of cricketing feats, he has survived the runts with flying colors. After a hugely successful 2011 WC campaign, he has to pull out of the game because of cancer. But he made a comeback and played for the nation surviving the illness.

Having seen it all, Yuvi is probably the best man to speak on Virat Kohl’s current poor form in the professional cricket arena. In a recent interview with the newly launched channel Sports 18, the former Indian middle-order spoke about Kohli.

“Obviously, he is also not happy, and people aren’t too, because we have seen him setting bigger benchmarks, scoring hundreds after hundreds. But this happens to the best players.”- Yuvraj said in the first of the two-part interview series called Home of Heroes, a new initiative of Sports 18.

“Virat needs to become a free-flowing personality again. If he can change himself and be like how he was earlier that will reflect in his game. He has proved himself to be the best of his era and believes in a strong work ethic and that has brought the best out of him over the years,”- he added.

Notably. Virat Kohli is having a terrible time in the Indian T20 League 2022. He has just scored 128 runs from nine innings at an average of 16.0. This is by far his worst season in the tournament of his career.
