After losing the series opener in Mohali, India took on Australia in the second match on 23 September 2022. The stage was set in Nagpur as India were looking to equalize the match. However, India made two changes as they dropped Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav. In place of them, they went with Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant. 

After missing recent matches due to injuries, Jasprit Bumrah finally made a comeback to the Indian team. He did not disappoint his fans as he took the wicket of Aaron Finch with a vicious yorker. Even, the Australian skipper acknowledged that delivery by tapping on his bat. The video went viral as fans shared the same on Twitter.

Aaron Finch scored 31 runs off 15 balls before losing his wicket to Jasprit Bumrah

Speaking of the video, it was the fifth over the match. Matthew Wad and Aaron Finch were batting for Australia. Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl that over. In the last delivery of that over, Bumrah produced a peach of a yorker to which the Australian skipper had no clue at all. He even acknowledged that delivery after getting out.

Speaking of the match, rain delayed the start of the game in Nagpur. Due to rain, the outfield was wet. After many inspections, finally, the umpires decided to kick off the match. Hence, the match got reduced to eight overs for each side. India won the toss and they asked Australia to bat first.

Aaron Finch looked in good touch as he scored 31 runs off 15 balls. He smashed four boundaries and one six, at a strike rate of 206.66. Apart from him, Wade scored 443* runs off 20 balls, at a strike rate of 215. Australia managed to score 90 runs for five wickets in eight overs. For India, Axar Patel took two wickets for 13 runs in two overs. While Bumrah took another wicket by conceding 23 runs in two overs, at an economy of 11.50.
