Season six winners, Bengaluru Bulls locked horns in the UP Yoddhas on October 16 in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League 2022. The Bangalore-based team were coming off a loss against season seven winners, Bengal Warriors. They were up against the Yoddhas, who were coming off two back-to-back losses. Also, the team was dealing with Pardeep Narwal’s lack of form in the ongoing ninth season.

However, what turned out in the game for the Lucknow-based team was quite incredible. In the game, Narwal came up with some new skills up his sleeve. Over the years, he has been famous for his ‘Dubki’. For those who don’t know, ‘Dubki’ is move to sneak under the defender and head back to their court. In the ongoing season, the teams have come up with a plan against the move.

In the game against the Bulls, he decided to jump over the defenders and use running hand touch. These moves caught the defenders off guard on multiple occasions. In total, the former Patna Pirates player scored 14 points in the game. On the other hand, the Men In Black could only score five tackle points collectively. This proved costly for the team as they lost the game by seven points.

After the game, the Bengaluru coach, Randhir Singh didn’t mince words in the post-match presser. In a video uploaded by Pro Kabaddi on Twitter, Singh was heard saying ‘yeh match only and only over-confidence se haare’ (We lost the game only because of over-confidence).

Now, the Mahender Singh-led side will play their next game against the Tamil Thalaivas on October 19. The team would look to break the losing streak and getting back to the winning ways. Up until now, they have played four games, won two and lost as many. The defenders would be looking to come up with much better performances in the upcoming games. In the last couple of games, they have been found wanting.
