In the sixth match of this year’s Caribbean Premier League, Barbados Royals took on Saint Lucia Kings in Basseterre. Saint Lucia won the toss and they opted to bowl first. However, the Barbados franchise managed to win the match by 11 runs with the help of the D/L Method.

Meanwhile, during the first innings, Barbados skipper David Miller batted well. He remained not out on 24* runs off 15 balls, at a strike rate of 160. But, during his innings, he hit two lovely sixes and that video went viral on the internet. Fans also loved it as they started to share it on several social media platforms.

Speaking of the video, David Miller looked in a sublime touch when he came out to bat for his side. He hit two huge sixes. The bowler bowled those balls in his slot and he did not miss those at all. Miller smashed those out of the boundary.

He remained not out on 24* runs off 15 balls, including those sixes. His innings helped Barbados to score 162 runs by losing seven wickets in 20 overs. But, due to rain, the match got shortened. Hence, Saint Lucia Kings got a new revised target of 103 runs in just nine overs.

Speaking of the chase, Saint skipper Faf du Plessis remained not out on 47* runs off 20 balls, including two fours and four sixes. No batters gave him support until Alzarri Joseph came out to bat. He remained not out on 29* runs off 18 balls, including two fours and two sixes. But, the team failed to chase it down as they managed only 91 runs in nine overs by losing four wickets. Kyle Mayers was the player of the match for his all-around performance. He took four wickets by conceding four runs in two overs. Mayers also scored 36 runs off 23 balls, including six fours and a single six.
