The ongoing game between India and Bangladesh in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 is turning out to get a blockbuster. Vice-captain KL Rahul got his form back with his 32-ball 50. After struggling in the first few balls, he unleashed himself upon his Asian rivals. On the other hand, former India skipper Virat Kohli continued his love affair with the Adelaide Oval.

He scored an unbeaten 64 off 44 balls. With this, he now has three fifties in the tournament. Rahul and Kohli’s innings helped the team put up a competitive total of 184/6 at the end of the innings. The total was supposed to be challenging for the Bangladesh Tigers. However, despite Nazmul Shanto’s struggle with the bat, Litton Das was making sure the chase was on course.

He took the team to 66/0 after seven overs before the rain interruption. The rain stayed long enough for the overs to be reduced. After the break, the Green Brigade was asked to chase 151 in 16 overs with 10 wickets in hand. Right after the start, Rahul got rid of Litton with a terrific run-out at the non-striking end

This wicket eventually turned out to be a turning point in the game. From 660/, the Shakib Al Hasan-led side has been reduced to 118/6 at the time of writing. Bowlers such as Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya have taken two wickets each. On the other hand, Mohammed Shami took one. At this stage, Nurul Hasan and Taskin Ahmed are batting at the crease. They need to score 27 runs off the last 11 balls to win the game.

The penultimate over is in progress with Hardik Pandya being hit for a four to start the over. However, India’s noses are currently in front and Pandya would love to leave as many runs as he can for Arshdeep Singh, who is likely to bowl out the last over.
