Fans might remember JARVO from England during India’s tour of England in 2021. During the series, a certain England fan used to enter the ground masquerading as an India player. Every time he used to be escorted out by the security officials, he got banned for life by a certain venue. However, in the second and third Tests of the series, the Englishman created a ruckus.

Fast forward to 2023, a Pakistani fan also imitated JARVO somehow. Even though the former didn’t masquerade JARVO, he certainly did enter the playing field which is not allowed for the fans. The incident happened during the second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. The fan tried to meet Pakistan wicketkeeper batter, Mohammad Rizwan. The police, in reply, escorted the fan out.

After a while, a Pakistani journalist managed to speak to the detained boy. In the video, the kid was heard saying that his father died a while back and request Pakistan skipper Babar Azam to save him.

New Zealand spinner bowled well: Babar Azam

Meanwhile, talking about the game, the Kiwis won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost the wicket of Finn Allen early but recovered well. Thanks to skipper Kane Williamson and Devon Conway took the team to 183/1. However, thanks to Mohammad Nawaz’s four wickets and Naseem Shah’s three, the Blackcaps were bowled out for 261. In reply, the Asian side was bowled out for 182 runs, losing the game by 79 runs. After the game, Azam said that New Zealand spinners bowled well.

“We came back well with the bat. But when the spinners came on, it was turning sharply. Credit to them. Rizwan and I wanted to take deep, and then analyse from the 40th over onwards. When Agha came, we thought of moving on. Today the spinners were getting a lot more help. The pitch in Karachi is always better in the second innings, but played differently today.”
