 Watch: Quinton de Kock’s Embarrassing Moment On Camera During A Hundred Game

On 12 August 2022, London Spirit and Southern Brave locked horns in the Hundred tournament. London Spirit came out victorious by 9 runs. However, during the match, Southern Brave’s Quinton de Kock got embarrassed on camera. During the first innings of London Spirit, this South African batter was found adjusting his pecker. However, that came up on the camera and the video got viral in no time. 

Former Australian women cricketer, Mel Jones was doing the commentary then. Meanwhile, she came up with a wrong prediction regarding the whole situation. She thought that for the last five balls of that innings, Quinton de Kock removed his gloves from his right hand for executing better throws. However, the wicket-keeper batter’s action proved her completely wrong as it seemed.

Southern Brave suffered another defeat in this year’s Hundred tournament

Speaking of the video, this incident took place when Liam Dawson and Kieron Pollard were batting for the London Spirit. The London side won teh toss and opted to bat first. While batting first, they put up a score of 147 runs in 100 balls, losing only six wickets. Glenn Maxwell (34 runs off 21 balls), Kieron Pollard (26* runs off 20 balls), and Daniel Bell-Drummond (46 runs off 33 balls) were the main contributors to them.

In reply, Quinton de Kock came out to open with James Vince. But, the South African batter failed again. He got run out for two runs only. Ros Whitely scored 52 runs off 33 balls. He managed those runs at a strike rate of 157.57. Still, they fell short by nine runs. The defending champions managed to score only 198 runs in 100 balls, losing seven wickets.

It was their second loss of this season in three matches. Quinton de Kock is yet to manage any significant contribution to his team in this tournament. In two matches, he scored only 17 runs so far. However, he will be in action again when his team will take on Oval Invincibles on 14 August 2022.
