The India-Pakistan game in the Super 12 round of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 was nothing but sheer entertainment. No team was ready to let the game go at any point. However, as they say, only one team can win the game. Eventually, after 40 overs of cricket, India managed to win the game. After the game, a lot of Indian fans inside and outside the venues couldn’t keep calm.

On the other hand, the last-ball finish also had the same effect on someone such as Rahul Dravid. Usually, a calm and composed personality, the Men In Blue head coach also shared the sentiments of a billion people after the game. In a video that is going viral, the former India skipper was seen celebrating with the players and was clearly ‘pumped up’ after Ravichandran Ashwin hit the winning runs.

Talking about the game, the 2009 winners were asked to bat first after losing the toss. Skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan got out to Arshdeep Singh in the powerplay. The likes of Shan Masood and Iftikhar Ahmed stitched a partnership of 76 runs to bring some stability. The latter scored a half-century and was trapped lbw by Mohammed Shami. This wicket triggered a collapse and it looked like Pakistan won’t play their entire innings.

However, Masood’s fifty and Shaheen Afridi’s cameo ensured that they amassed a fighting total of 159/8. In reply, the 2007 winners lost four wickets on 31 runs, and the loss like likely. However, the likes of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya ensured that the team remained in the game with a 113-run partnership. This partnership proved decisive at the end of the game even after plenty of drama during the last over.

Now, India will play against the Netherlands on October 27. On the other hand, Pakistan will play against Zimbabwe on the same day. Both Asian teams would look to win these games.
