India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant has always been a crowd favorite over the years. He hardly denies the fans’ requests whether it is for a selfie or an autograph. This time around, Pant clicked selfies and signed autographs with security officials at the Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati. The incident happened after the practice of the Indian team at the venue.

The home team had a practice session with the second T20I between India and South Africa to be played on October 2. Talking about the video, it is going viral on social media. At the time of writing, it was watched by 31,000 people and counting and gotten more than 1000 likes.

The Men In Blue will be looking to wrap up the series in Guwahati. They are leading the series 1-0 as they won comfortably by eight wickets in Thiruvanathapuram. The team is missing the services of their lead pacer, Jasprit Bumrah. He has been ruled out due to back pain and has been replaced by Mohammed Siraj. The latter hasn’t played a T20I game for months and it looks highly likely that he might be in the playing XI for the next game.

On the other hand, the Proteas will be looking to come up with a much-improved performance with the bat. In the first game, half of their side was back in the pavilion after scoring only nine runs. Even though they bowled well, they had only 110-odd runs to defend in front of a world-class batting line-up. It will be interesting to see what kind of wicket India gets this time around. In a T20I game in 2017 against Australia, the opposition pacer troubled the Indian batters.

However, things might change this time around as the Rohit Sharma-led side will be looking for the batters to get some runs under the belt ahead of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Their first game in the tournament will be played on October 23 against Pakistan
