Team India is getting ready for the high-voltage clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on 28 August 2022 in the Asia Cup. Players from both teams were already seen sweating hard in the nets ahead of this match. However, Indian players were also seen interacting with fans around the globe by keeping their requests.

Now, on 26 August 2022, Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal had an unusual interaction with some Indian reporters. The incident took place on the sidelines of the team’s practice sessions. The video got viral and it got circulated quickly over the internet. A YouTube channel named SPORTS IMPACT shared it also.

Here is the shared video:

Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal took a hilarious dig at reporters

Both the Indian skipper and spinner were talking to the reporters. They were asking the name of that reporter who reported about players’ personal life. Rohit Sharma said: “Kaun hai? Batao?”. However, the Indian journalist cleared the air by avoiding answering the same.

In response to that, Chahal hilariously said: “Ye antakshari thodi hi chal Rahi hai. Idhar antakshari khelein kya? (We are not playing ‘guess the names’ here).” Earlier this week, Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife were in the headlines. A rumour was there of them getting separation. But, they cleared the air by coming out and speaking for themselves.

Speaking of the Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma will look to start this tournament on a high. Last year, India lost to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. Hence, India will be eager to win this time around. However, Chahal will be on this team as he was not there in the last World Cup. Notably, Chahal is the highest wicket-taker for India in the shortest format of the game. Both India and Pakistan dealt with some massive blows. Jasprit Bumrah will be not a part of this Asia Cup due to his back injury. On the other hand, Pakistan will miss the services of Shaheen Afridi due to his knee injury.
