On 20 September 2022, India kicked off their three-match T20I series against Australia with a loss in Mohali. After a dismal show in UAE in the Asia Cup, fans were hoping for a better show from the Men in Blue. But, again, they failed to showcase their potential as Australia defeated them by four wickets.

Speaking of the match, Australia were chasing a huge target of 209 runs. During that innings, Rohit Sharma looked very aggressive as he looked animated toward the veteran wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik. Fans were shocked to see the Indian captain in such a manner as the video went viral.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place on the 12th over. Umesh Yadav came up to bowl that over as he conceded 16 runs in his first over. But, in that over, he took two back-to-back wickets of Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell. However, in both the dismissals, DRS helped India to get the decisions in their favour.

During the dismissal of Maxwell, Rohit Sharma took the review. Prior to that, he was seen grabbing Dinesh Karthik’s neck in a playful manner. The Indian skipper was not happy that the senior gloveman didn’t appeal for a review. Regarding that, he poked fun at his long-time teammate and good friend Karthik. Fans were shocked and surprised to see Rohit in such a manner as it became the talk of the town.

Speaking of the match, Australia won the toss and they asked India to bat first. While batting first, India scored 208 runs by losing six wickets in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya scored 71* runs off 30 balls, including seven fours and five sixes. KL Rahul also scored 55 runs off 35 balls. In reply, Australia chased the target down with four balls and wickets to spare. Cameron Green won the player of the match award by scoring 61 runs off 30 balls.
