Serbia and Isle of Man locked horns together in the Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier. During that match, a Serbian cricketer named Ayo Mene-Ejegi came up with an unusual celebration after taking the 100th wicket of his career. The video got viral and surfaced quickly over the Internet.

The Governing body of Cricket also shared the video on its official Instagram account with a caption: “💯 wicket celebration from Serbia’s Ayo Mene-Ejegi 🙌,” Speaking of the celebration, he flipped on the ground before lying straight with open arms after taking the 100th wicket in the match.

The Isle of Man won the match by 68 runs

Speaking about the match, the Serbian cricketer picked up four wickets in the match as it helped Serbia to keep the Isle of Man down to 165 for 7 in their quota of 20 overs. In reply, Serbia failed to chase it down as they managed to score only 97 runs by losing their seven wickets.

Hence, the Isle of Man won the match by 68 runs. This qualifier is considered to get an entry into the Men’s T20 World Cup. This mega event is scheduled to be conducted in Australia and it will go from 16 October to 13 November 2022.

The celebration has always been a major point for players to make a cricketing moment more memorable. George Burrows was the player of the match for scoring 60 runs off 46 balls. Matthew Ansell and Chris Langford grabbed two wickets each to restrict Serbia to 97 runs while chasing the target of 166 runs.

However, the video of Ayo’s celebration got viral and fans loved it so much by finding it hilarious. They came up with their Twitter accounts to share the video as it got viral quickly. However, after this crushing defeat, Serbia will look to make a solid bounce back in the next match in order to remain for further qualification.
