In the second ODI between India and South Africa on October 9 in Ranchi, Ishan Kishan emerged as the match-winner. In the game, he scored 93 runs including seven sixes and four fours. He missed out on his maiden hundred. However, his innings and Shreyas Iyer’s century ensured that the team won the game and leveled the series. On the other hand, Shubman Gill batted well for his 28 but was caught and bowled by Kagiso Rabada.

Meanwhile, after the game, Kishan and Gill came together in the dressing room as the latter was one of the match winners for the team. After a few seconds, Gill praised the wicketkeeper batter in the signature style of Vikram Vedha. For the unversed, Vikram Vedha is a Hindi which is remake of the original movie from South India. Notably, the original film is also named Vikram Vedha. Meanwhile, Ishan and Shubman’s video is going viral.

Talking about the game, the Proteas batted first after winning the toss and scored 278/7. They might have scored more if not for losing wickets in the last 10 overs. For the team, Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram scored the fifties. For the Men In Blue, Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets.

In reply, the home team chases down the target in just 45.5 overs, thanks to the brilliance of Kishan and Iyer. This win has now helped the team get close to a series win. In the ongoing decider between the two teams, the visitors were bowled out for 99 runs. Siraj took two wickets at the top while Kuldeep Yadav broke the opposition’s back with a four-wicket haul. However, he missed out on his third ODI hat trick. At the time of writing, India lost two wickets and scored 59 runs. They need only 41 runs to win in 38.4 overs.
