In the ongoing Big Bash League game between Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunders, Steve Smith was on song. The former Australia skipper bludgeoned the Thunders’ bowling attack after his side won the toss and elected to bat first. Notably, the game was reduced to 19-overs-a-side. Meanwhile, in the penultimate over of the first innings, Smith pulled a swat against Daniel Sams’ back-of-a-length deliveries.

The right-hander hit the shot gun barrel straight. However, it proved almost lethal for his Sixers’ skipper, Moises Henriques at the non-striking end. The latter was hit in the crotch as the ball bounced after landing on the pitch. He tried to escape the ball but failed to do so. Now, the video has been going viral.
